E-mail stopped working and had to re-install it.

MEthod one worked like a charm when following every step to the point tried to ched with rebooting and it didnt work Well done Windows! I have the same comment as Marcel: I get the blue splash screen with an envelope, then it disappears and — — nothing more. Must be something other than corrupted installation files. Any suggestions? I have the same problem as Jack.
Cannot Find Mail App in Windows 8/Windows 8.1
An outlook account will not sync in Mail. Apparently this was set up when Microsoft started co-ordinating Mail and Outlook Any suggestions, please. I did this but when I reinstalled the Mail app it restored user data which put the email account that will not sync back in the app. So I still have an email account that will not sync and when I click on it does not open so I can change settings or delete it. However I could not reinstall it at the Windows store, the Fee was grayed out , and it said it was installed.
Then, when visiting the Windows store the option to GET returned magically!! It,s still causing the same issue…lol. I open Mail, add account, select outlook, ponders for a few minutes then shuts it down…. My Mail and Calendar ap just disappeared from my start menu, so I did the uninstall using Powershell… seems to have worked, cannot find it anymore in settings.

Please help!? Mail stopped working for me??? Used the method above to recover. The recovery worked a lot better then the Mail app!
Default Pre-Installed Windows apps are missing
My mail is back, for now. This is sooooo not the way to use PowerShell. Instead of looking for microsoft. Perfect help for reinstalling the app. Mike Strange. Please try to reset and clear the Store app cache.

Utility reports success — ie. Followed this and reinstalled the app from the store. But same error when I try to add an email account. Something went wrong…. Err 0x May be Mail app for Windows 10 is fantastic, but I have not found an elementary thing, namely, how to select a large group of messages in the list.

I cannot re-install mail app. Thank you for creating this easy to use program, without having to access the PowerShell!! I reinstalled Microsoft E package it the same thing.. I did a reset on it in the Apps Feature. I tried the standard remove using the elevated powershell and the recommended utility v1. Not letting me reinstall the Mail App. Says this App will not work on your PC. Thank You so much for the instructions on how to reinstall the app! It worked perfectly for me!

My Office has disappeared from the start menu, doesn't appear in the apps list but is there - and I've pinned them back on the taskbar - but cannot get them on start - which is beginning to become such a hassle anyway don't think I'll bother. Was a big fan of W8 and even bigger of Office 13 but this is getting too messy and hassly now!
Thanks for your help, since then I have had to do a system restore because of a seperate problem, which has reset my computer to windows 8 rather than 8. So until i know all of the issues with 8. I have followed all of the steps you suggested to no avail. The results from the scan indicate there is a problem with some files: Windows resource protection could not start the repair service. Note that I tried running script again with anti-virus disabled but the results are the same. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks for your help, Alan.
